If available, historic financial statements (or tax returns) are submitted and reviewed. Just as important as historic financials are building a pro forma for the project/purchase. We leverage our years of experience to assist in this process.

We think like a lender. Reviewing all of the information above in the context of the tried and true five C’s of credit that most banking institutions use as their framework for decisioning an application:
- Character: Your reputation and personal credit history
- Capacity: The ability to repay the loan (this is why the pro forma is important)
- Collateral: The specific asset pledged to the lender
- Capital: Additional assets of the business/individual
- Conditions: The prevailing local, regional, national economic outlook and regulatory environment

Our industry connections allow us to know which lenders are a good fit for your project. Depending on the project, we may approach Community Development Corporations and SBA/USDA lenders. We submit a complete package on your behalf, answer questions from the lender, and work to negotiate terms and conditions. This saves you significant time and money.

While we can’t guarantee you’ll get the funding you need, your chances of approval are much higher working with us. Navigating the settlement process often comes with last minute issues that need to be quickly resolved. We stay involved to clear those hurdles.
